Description: Patrice Turner, Ed.D. Candidate in Music and Music Education, will discuss her experience and method of adapting gospel music for non-proselytizing purposes in public school and university settings. This presentation will address the sensitive and timely issue of religion in the public square. Pizza lunch will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
